Declaration of Krotoszyn Jews against Greater Poland land elders

IIciek Lewek and the Syndic Lewek Salamon, elders of Krotoszyn, come out against the Greater Poland land elders and especially Marshal Józef Lewkowicz in the matter of issuing an allocation without the signature of Krotoszyn elders, in violation of old laws according to which the allocation should be signed by the elders of three communities: Leszno, Krotoszyn, and Kalisz, and, in addition, regarding the encumbrance of Krotoszyn Jews with 3,000 zlotys. Józef Lewkowicz is additionally accused of occupying the marshal’s office and blocking other candidates, contrary to law and custom.
